Additional cardholders. This card offers up to 4 additional cardholders for free, so you can share your account with family members. The primary cardholder will manage the account and keep it in good standing.
Digital wallets. Supports Apple Pay and Google Pay. It can't be used with Samsung Pay.
Gambling transactions. Auswide Bank has disabled gambling-related transactions on the Platinum Rewards Mastercard.
Rewards and benefits
Complimentary travel insurance. Complimentary international travel insurance is included. To be eligible for this cover, cardholders must have purchased their travel tickets using the card prior to departure.
Concierge services. Get access to concierge service with the Auswide Bank Platinum Rewards Mastercard. This 24 / 7 service can assist you with booking reservations, providing travel advice and making recommendations, help with shopping advice and price comparison, and more.
Insurances. Cardholders get extended warranty protection, fraud protection, purchase protection insurance, price protection insurance, transport accident insurance, and repayment insurance.
Rewards points. Auswide Bank Platinum Rewards Mastercard cardholders can earn 1 point per $1 spent on eligible purchases. Points are capped at a maximum of 100,000 points per year with no expiry date and can be redeemed through the Card Services Rewards program for goods and services.
Sign up bonus. Auswide Bank offers a sign up bonus of 20,000 points when you make $3,000 in eligible purchases within the first 90 days.
Rates and fees
Annual fee. The ongoing annual fee for this card is $129.
Balance transfers. The Auswide Bank Platinum Rewards Mastercard offers a balance transfer promotion of 0% p.a. for 24 months on balances transferred, with 80% of the total credit limit available. After the promotional period, any remaining balance will revert to the ongoing interest rate of 21.74% p.a.
Cash advances. Transactions classified as a cash advance will be charged interest at 21.74% p.a., with interest accruing from the transaction date. A cash advance fee of 3.5% will be charged on any cash advances made with this card.
Foreign exchange fee. This card charges a 3.4% fee for overseas or online transactions in a foreign currency.
Interest-free period. Get up to 55 days interest-free on purchases when you pay your balance in full or make the minimum required payments. There are no interest-free days if you do a balance transfer.
Purchases. There is no introductory offer on purchases. The ongoing purchase rate is 20.24% p.a., which is comparable with most rewards credit cards.
