  • Additional cardholders. This card allows you to add an additional cardholder for $5 p.a. Share it with family to earn more cashback.
  • Digital wallets. The ANZ Cashback Visa Platinum Credit Card is compatible with Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • Gambling transactions. Gambling transactions are allowed and will incur the cash advance rate.

Rewards and benefits

  • Complimentary travel insurance. The ANZ Cashback Visa Platinum Credit Card does not provide complimentary international travel insurance.
  • Concierge services. Access to the ANZ concierge service is not available.
  • Insurances. This card comes with Visa Zero Liability and fraud protection. Although platinum-level, it does not offer additional credit card insurance coverage.
  • Rewards points. As its name suggests, cardholders can earn up to $1 cashback per $120 spent on eligible purchases. Cash advances, balance transfers, gambling-related transactions, and business purchases are not eligible for cashback, nor are any cash equivalent transactions such as using the card to fund an international money transfer. There is no cap on how much cashback can be earned. Overall, this is an extremely competitive offer.

  • Balance transfers. There is no introductory balance transfer offer.
  • Cash advances. It's 19.95% p.a. for cash advances, with interest accruing from the transaction date. There is no additional fee for cash advances with this card, which many other banks charge.
  • Foreign exchange fee. Any purchases made in a foreign currency — either overseas or online with an international retailer or marketplace — will be subject to a 1.30% fee. This is cheaper than many other cards.
  • Interest-free period. Enjoy up to 55 days interest-free on purchases (except cash advances) when you pay the balance in full or make minimum required payments by the due date.
  • Purchases. With no introductory offer on purchases, the ongoing rate of 19.95% p.a. will apply to all purchases. This rate is around the rewards card average.
