  • Digital wallets. This card is compatible with Apple Pay and Google Pay.
  • Gambling transactions. Gambling-related transactions are allowed but classified as cash advances.

Rewards and benefits

  • Complimentary travel insurance. The BNZ Advantage Visa Platinum Credit Card comes with complimentary international travel insurance coverage for up to 90 days.
  • Concierge services. Comes with access to a 24/7 concierge service for help with arranging travel bookings, making reservations, organising excursions, finding the best prices, and more.
  • Insurances. This card offers fraud protection, emergency travel assistance, and domestic rental vehicle excess insurance. There are no other insurance benefits.
  • Rewards points. Earn either Flubuys or BNZ Points on eligible spending. Earn rates are 1 Flybuys points per $15 spent or 1.6 BNZ points per $1 spent. Spending $90 gets you BNZ points equivalent to $1 cashback. Balance transfers and cash advances are not eligible transactions for earning points. BNZ Points can be transferred to British Airways Executive Club, Emirates Skywards, Etihad Guest, Flybuys, Qantas Frequent Flyer, Qatar Privilege Club, and United MileagePlus. They can also be transferred to Accor Live Limitless, IHG One Rewards, and Wyndham Rewards. Having a range of transfer partners like this makes it much easier to maximise the redemption value by booking expensive flights and upgrades.
  • Sign up bonus. BNZ does not offer any sign up bonus for new customers.
