Reasonable rates and widely accepted

I like ADCU as it is a credit union run by people. The rates are reasonable and customer service always very obliging. It is accepted in all ATMs and overseas. As it is Defence

I still find it hard to make payments
Reviewed by Michelle Robinson
Even though it is a low interest card, I find it quite high still with interest especially if you are on a government benefit, e.g. pension. We still seem to struggle to make sufficient payments. If you could make a fortnightly payment, it would be a much better way to pay.
One for defence

This card is the way a credit card should work. Low interest, high flexibility, and great customer service. Very easy to solve any problems that may arise and they can customise payments and any other banking tasks to suit you or your pay periods. Very, very good products and service.
Good for those looking for a back up

I would say overall this is a good backup card for anyone looking for a secondary option — good communication and readily available information and changes, comparable and competitive rates.
Originally I was recommended this card and I decided to give it a go as there were fewer options at the time that seemed to suit my basic needs. This one has been handy, and though swiped on many occasions, it is durable.
Convenient, safe card from a great bank

My Australian Military Bank Low Rate Visa card is convenient and I feel very safe using it — even online.
The staff have been great — friendly, helpful and courteous — but then again, there’s not much reason to contact them.
I have been using it for 15 years and I am very happy. Of course, I would like to pay less interest. Strangely, I prefer to keep my hard-earned money in MY pocket and not be giving it away to any bank, but then again, the Military Bank isn’t like the Big Four. They don’t refuse to pass on official interest rate cuts and announce quarterly profits in the billions, and then announce that they have to cut staff and raise fees. Disgraceful!! I’ll stick with the credit unions even when they change their name to a “Bank”. They still look after their members and the ADCU/Australian Military Bank is one of the best as far as I am concerned.
