    The basics

    • Additional cardholders. You can add up to 4 additional cardholders free of charge. The main cardholder is responsible for managing the account and making payments.
    • Digital wallets. Works with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay.
    • Gambling transactions. IMB has blocked gambling transactions.

    Rewards and benefits

    • Complimentary travel insurance. The IMB Platinum Mastercard comes with complimentary international travel insurance. Eligibility criteria apply, and the card must have been used to purchase travel expenses before departure for cover to be active.
    • Concierge services. Cardholders have to access a 24 / 7 concierge service to arrange restaurant and hotel bookings, provide shopping advice, help with travel recommendations, compare prices, and more.
    • Insurances. Cardholders get extended warranty protection, fraud protection, purchase protection insurance, transport accident insurance, and repayment insurance. They also have access to international travel insurance and price protection insurance.
    • Rewards points. The IMB Platinum Mastercard offers 1 point for every dollar spent with the Card Services Rewards program. Points do not expire, and there is no limit on the number of points earned per month or year.
    • Sign up bonus. IMB offers a sign up bonus of 20,000 points for new customers who spend $3,000 on eligible purchases in the first 90 days.

    Rates and fees

    • Annual fee. This card has an ongoing annual fee of $129 p.a.
    • Balance transfers. The IMB Platinum Mastercard offers an introductory balance transfer period of 24 months with a 0% p.a. rate. After the introductory period, any remaining balance will be subject to a revert rate of 21.74% p.a. There is no fee for balance transfers and the maximum limit is 80% of your overall credit limit. Balance transfers from personal loans are not available.
    • Cash advances. Cash advances with the IMB Platinum Mastercard will be charged interest at 21.74% p.a., beginning from the transaction date. IMB charges a one-off fee for cash advances made with this card.
    • Foreign exchange fee. Purchases made in a foreign currency either overseas or online will incur a 3.4% fee.
    • Interest-free period. Get up to 55 days interest-free on purchases (excluding cash advances) when you pay your account balance in full or make the minimum required payment.
    • Purchases. There is no promotional purchase rate, so all purchases will be charged interest at the ongoing rate of 20.24% p.a. This rate is about average for a rewards card.
