    • Additional cardholders. You can add one additional cardholder to your account for a fee of $10 in the initial year. The main cardholder is responsible for managing the account and making timely repayments.
    • Digital wallets. This card can be added to all major digital wallets, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay.
    • Gambling transactions. Gambling transactions will not be allowed.

    Rewards and benefits

    • Complimentary travel insurance. The Police Credit Union Extralite Credit Card does not provide complimentary international travel insurance.
    • Concierge services. There is no concierge service available.
    • Insurances. This card comes with fraud protection, but you won't get any of the complimentary insurances available with some other cards.
    • Rewards points. This credit card does not have a rewards program, which is typical of a cheap credit card like this.
    • Sign up bonus. Police Credit Union do not offer any sign up bonus for new customers, just low ongoing rates and fees.

    Rates and fees

    • Annual fee. This card does not have an annual fee. It doesn't get any cheaper than that.
    • Balance transfers. This credit card does not offer an introductory interest-free balance transfer offer.
    • Cash advances. Cash advances made using the Police Credit Union Extralite Credit Card will be charged interest at the rate of 13.99% p.a. Interest will begin to accrue from the transaction date. Police Credit Union will charge a one-off fee in addition to interest. This is one of the cheaper cash advance cards.
    • Foreign exchange fee. All purchases made in a foreign currency — whether overseas or online — will incur a 3% foreign transaction fee.
    • Interest-free period. Get up to 44 days of interest-free on purchases (except cash advances) if your balance is paid off in full or the minimum repayment has been made. This is a few days shorter than the typical period of interest-free days.
    • Purchases. There is no introductory offer on purchases. The standard ongoing interest rate — currently 13.99% p.a. — will be applied to any purchases not paid off in full.

    Very easy to use, needed for overseas trip was able to transfer out and in to this account. Rates are competitive with other banks. Customer service are brilliant if there’s ever any trouble, and inform you immediately if there is some discrepancy with this account. I have had this card for awhile and find it the best for our home.
