    • Additional cardholders. You can add supplementary cardholders at no extra cost.
    • Digital wallets. This card is compatible with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.
    • Gambling transactions. Gambling transactions are not prohibited, though they will be treated as a cash advance.

    Rewards and benefits

    • Complimentary travel insurance. The UniBank Visa Credit Card does not provide complimentary international travel insurance coverage.
    • Concierge services. As a credit card with value as its core proposition, the lack of a concierge service doesn't come as a surprise.
    • Insurances. This card does not come with any insurance benefits such as refund protection or interstate flight inconvenience coverage. Policies such as this are not typically found on no-frills cards.
    • Rewards points. This credit card does not have a rewards program.
    • Sign up bonus. UniBank does not offer any new customers a sign up bonus.

    Rates and fees

    • Annual fee. This card has no annual fee, which is as low as you can get.
    • Balance transfers. University staff and graduates get an introductory offer of 6 months at a 7.9% p.a. balance transfer rate with no fee. This reverts to 11.50% p.a. after the introductory period.
    • Cash advances. Cash advances with the UniBank Visa Credit Card are charged interest at 11.5% p.a., with interest beginning to accrue immediately from the day the advance is made. Cash advances with this card will also incur a separate one-off cash advance fee.
    • Foreign exchange fee. There is a 2.9% fee on any purchases made in a foreign currency either overseas or online, which is something to be aware of should you plan on taking it with you on a trip.
    • Interest-free period. With the UniBank Visa Credit Card, you can enjoy up to 55 days interest-free on purchases, excluding cash advances. To qualify, you must pay your previous balance in full or have made the minimum required payment.
    • Purchases. Make use of the 6-month-long introductory period on purchases and get a 7.9% p.a. interest rate. After this introductory period, an ongoing interest rate of 11.5% p.a. will be applied to purchases made with this card.
