    The basics

    • Additional cardholders. You can add up to 9 additional cardholders for family and friends to use. At a cost of $65 p.a. per card, this can add up quickly. The account holder will be responsible for managing the account and repaying debt.
    • Digital wallets. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay are all compatible.
    • Gambling transactions. Gambling purchases are not blocked, but will be charged the cash advance rate and additional cash advance fee per transaction.

    Rewards and benefits

    • Complimentary travel insurance. The ANZ Rewards Platinum Credit Card offers complimentary international travel insurance for cardholders. Travel covered when the card has been used prior to departure for travel purchases such as flights related to your trip. Eligibility criteria apply.
    • Concierge services. This card does not come with access to the ANZ concierge service. For this, you'll need to apply for the black version.
    • Insurances. Complimentary insurance available with this card include rental vehicle excess in Australia and purchase protection insurance. Fraud protection is provided by ANZ Falcon.
    • Rewards points. Earn 1.5 points per $1 spent up to $2,000, dropping to 0.5 points per $1 on spend above $2,000. There is no cap on the number of points you can earn. Points are earned into ANZ Rewards and can be transferred to a number of airline partners (Virgin Australia's Velocity Frequent Flyer, Cathay Pacific's Asia Miles, Air New Zealand's Airpoints, and Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer. Balance transfers, cash advances, fees, and payments to the ATO will not earn rewards points.
    • Sign-up bonus. The sign-up bonus for the ANZ Rewards Platinum Credit Card is 100,000 ANZ Rewards points and get a $50 cashback. You must spend at least $2,000 on eligible purchases within 90 days of approval in order to get them.

    Rates and fees

    • Annual fee. This card has an annual fee of $149 p.a. (including $55 Rewards Program Service Fee), which is quite competitive for a platinum card.
    • Balance transfers. There is no introductory balance transfer offer for this card at this time. If this is something you need to use, compare available balance transfer offers before signing up.
    • Cash advances. If you use this card for a cash advance or for a transaction classified as a cash equivalent, you will pay interest at the rate of 21.99% p.a. from the day the transaction was made. ANZ will also charge a fee.
    • Foreign exchange fee. Purchases in a foreign currency made while overseas or from an overseas online store will attract a 3% foreign transaction fee.
    • Interest-free period. This card offers an interest-free period of up to 55 days on purchases if you have paid off your previous balance in full. Cash advances are exempt from the interest-free period.
    • Purchases rate. Purchases that are carried over from your previous statement will attract interest at the ongoing rate of 20.99% p.a. until paid off.
