    • Additional cardholders. You can add one additional cardholder for free with this card. Note that the main account holder will be responsible for keeping the account in good standing. Additional cardholders' credit scores will not benefit.
    • Digital wallets. This card can be used with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Fitbit Pay, and Garmin Pay.
    • Gambling transactions. Gambling transactions are not allowed.

    Rewards and benefits

    • Complimentary travel insurance. This card does not provide international travel insurance coverage.
    • Concierge services. The Credit Union SA Education Community Credit Card does not give cardholders access to a concierge service.
    • Insurances. Cardholders get fraud protection and repayment insurance.
    • Rewards points. As it's a low rate card, there is no rewards program linked with the card.

    • Balance transfers. This credit card offers a balance transfer of up to 6 months with 0% p.a. When the promotional period ends, any remaining balance will revert to the ongoing purchase rate of 11.49 p.a.
    • Cash advances. Cash advances made with the Credit Union SA Education Community Credit Card are cheap. They charge 0% p.a. for the first 6 months, then 11.49% p.a. This is as unusual as it is competitive. And there is no cash advance fee.
    • Foreign exchange fee. A 2% fee applies to purchases made online or overseas in a foreign currency.
    • Interest-free period. This card offers up to 55 days interest-free on purchases as long as your account balance is paid in full by the due date or you have made the minimum required payments.
    • Purchases. There is 0% p.a. on purchases for the first 6 months, reverting to the low ongoing rate of 11.49% p.a.
