I am very pleased with my card

    Reviewed by H.m. James

I have both a credit and a debit credit card with Heritage Bank. I have banked with this company for 40 + years and have always found them to completely trustworthy, with great customer service and care. Their fees are lower than any of the larger banks and they automatically take the balance out of my account (at my request) therefore I pay no interest at all. If my balance exceeds the limit of the card or if there are any inconsistencies I am notified immediately. As I said earlier I am very happy with them and would not consider ever changing to another bank

    Great low-cost, efficient card

    Reviewed by Jacob

This company and the credit card are great, low cost and super efficient. Never had a problem paying for things either in person or online — this card is great!

Super easy app that goes with it that is direct and simple. Never had any problems at all. Easy, fluent, fun, and looks good when it’s in my wallet.

Use it wisely for great rewards

    Reviewed by Monique

I have this card as part of Heritage Bank’s old Mortgage Crusher bundle. The rewards seem fair, particularly if you use the card to pay most of your household bills. I’ve had a number of gift cards for Bunnings and Woolworths as a result, which has helped us out a little during a period where we are renovating two houses and paying two mortgages.

This is a great card attached to a bank with excellent customer service as they are friendly and willing to be personable.

Low interest rate, low annual fee

    Reviewed by Karen

This card is quite a good credit card with a low interest rate, although not as low as when I first got it. But it is a great card with a low annual fee.

Rewards are okay if you spend a fair bit each month, but not if you only use the card now and again.

No fancy stuff, just exactly what I need

    Reviewed by Julie

I’m very happy with this card. There’s no fancy stuff but it does exactly what I need.

It was extremely easy to apply for and the staff at Heritage Bank were extremely easy to deal with.

I’ve never had any issues with my statements or with repayment options. I would recommend this card to others.

Grateful that they gave credit to a pensioner

    Reviewed by Graham

I’m a pensioner and have been for many years. When I approached the Heritage Building Society for a Visa credit card they were not 100% sure of my ability to manage it. However, rather than refuse me (as I would expect from most credit providers) the Credit Manager gave me an option. I was required to hold $500 in my account for one month and he would approve a Visa with a limit of $500. This was great, and one month later my Visa was approved. Six months after that I was offered a credit limit increase to $3000, which is what I had originally asked for.

I have never had any problem with Heritage and their fees are very low. I would rate them as one of the top banks in Australia. I now live in Canberra, and even though they are a Queensland-based bank they go out of their way to make life easier whenever I need them, given that they are yet to roll out branches Australia-wide.

Thank you for the opportunity to tell my story, and I hope it helps others in their future decisions.
