Illawarra CU Low Rate Mastercard

The basics

• Additional cardholders. Add a secondary cardholder for free.
• Digital wallets. Compatible with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay.
• Gambling transactions. This card cannot be used for gambling-related transactions, which are blocked.

Rewards and benefits

• Complimentary travel insurance. The Illawarra CU Low Rate Mastercard does not include complimentary international travel insurance.
• Concierge services. The Illawarra CU Low Rate Mastercard does not offer cardholders access to a concierge service.
• Insurances. Cardholders get fraud protection, purchase protection, price protection, and repayment insurance.
• Rewards points. This credit card does not have a rewards program.
• Sign up bonus. Illawarra CU does not offer any sign up bonuses for this card.

Rates and fees

• Annual fee. The annual fee for this card is $50 and is waived in the first year.
• Balance transfers. There is no current balance transfer offer on the Illawarra CU Low Rate Mastercard.
• Cash advances. If you make a cash advance using this card, Illawarra CU will apply the 15.88% p.a. interest rate immediately from the transaction date. Transactions classed as cash advances on this card will also incur a fee.
• Foreign exchange fee. Purchases made in a foreign currency, either from an online store based overseas or while overseas, will incur a 3% fee.
• Interest-free period. With the Illawarra CU Low Rate Mastercard, you can enjoy up to 55 days interest-free on purchases (excluding cash advances) when you pay off your balance in full or make the minimum required payment.
• Purchases. There is no introductory offer on purchases. All purchases made with this card will attract interest at the competitively low rate of 8.99% p.a.
