Coles Rewards Mastercard

The basics

• Additional cardholders. Add up to 4 additional cardholders for friends and family at no extra cost.
• Digital wallets. The Coles Rewards Mastercard works with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.
• Gambling transactions. Coles does not allow their cards to be used for transactions related to gambling.

Rewards and benefits

• Complimentary travel insurance. This card does not come with complimentary international travel insurance.
• Concierge services. The Coles Rewards Mastercard has access to a 24 / 7 concierge service. Cardholders can use the concierge to book tickets, get help with travel arrangements, compare prices, and more.
• Insurances. Eligible purchases bought using this card are covered with a complimentary insurance policy against loss, theft, and accidental damage.
• Rewards points. Earn 2 Flybuys Points everywhere Mastercard is accepted up to and including $3,000 in each statement period. The earn rate drops to 1 Flybuys Point per $1 thereafter. Earn up to 3 Flybuys Points for every $1 spent on all Coles shopping. Balance transfers, BPAY payments, cash advances, fees, and purchases of a foreign currency or travellers cheques will not earn points. Government-related transactions, including payments to the ATO, do not earn rewards points.
• Sign-up bonus. Coles will reward you with 50,000 Flybuys bonus points when you apply for Coles Rewards Mastercard by 30 June 2024, get approved, and spend $3,000 or more on eligible purchases within 90 days of approval.

Rates and fees

• Annual fee. The annual fee for this card is $99 p.a.
• Balance transfers. At present, this card does not offer an introductory balance transfer option. The interest rate for any BT will be 19.99%.
• Cash advances. The Coles Rewards Mastercard charges 19.99% p.a. on cash advances with a $1.95 fee per transaction amount under $65.00, and 3.00% of the transaction amount for any transaction equal to or over $65.00. International cash advances will be charged a $5 fee.
• Foreign exchange fee. Foreign exchange fees do not apply to retail purchases. However, cash advances in a foreign currency or made outside of Australia will incur a 2.5% fee.
• Interest-free period. Pay the balance due on your Coles Rewards Mastercard account each month by the due date and you'll have 55 days interest-free on eligible purchases. As usual, the interest-free period doesn't apply to cash advances or balance transfers.
• Purchases. There is no introductory purchase rate for this card at the moment. All purchases will get a standard interest rate of 19.99% p.a.
