    The basics

    • Additional cardholders. It isn't possible to add any additional cardholders, nor is it possible to make a joint application.
    • Credit limit. There is a $1,000 credit limit, which is fixed at the same amount for everyone who applies regardless of credit score.
    • Digital wallets. Westpac Flex can be added to major digital wallets, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.
    • Gambling transactions. This card cannot be used to pay merchants classified as gambling-related.
    • Repayments. The minimum monthly repayment is $40. You can make additional payments at any time and set up fortnightly or monthly repayments.
    • Virtual card. This is a card you can use immediately. Once you apply and have been approved, you can add the card to your digital wallet and start using it without having to wait for a physical card to arrive.

    Rewards and benefits

    • Complimentary travel insurance. There is no complimentary travel insurance with this card.
    • Concierge services. Cardholders will not have access to a concierge service.
    • Lounge access. Westpac Flex cardholders cannot use their card for access to airport lounges.
    • Rewards points. This card is not linked with any rewards program. However, cashback is available at Westpac Extras partner stores when you pay with your Flex Card.

    Rates and fees

    • Annual fee. Instead of an annual fee, there is a $10 monthly fee. The monthly fee will not be charged if your outstanding balance was paid in full by the due date or if this month’s statement does not have an outstanding balance.
    • Balance transfers. There are no balance transfers for new or existing customers.
    • Cash advances. It is not possible to withdraw cash with the Westpac Flex Card.
    • Foreign exchange fee. No fees are charged for purchases made in a foreign currency while overseas or when shopping online.
    • Interest-free period. The Westpac Flex Card is what's known as a no interest credit card. Its monthly fee replaces interest.
    • Late payment fee. There is no late payment fee.
    • Purchases. As a no interest credit card, interest is not charged on purchases. If you leave a balance on the card, the flat $10 monthly fee will be charged instead.
    • Sign up bonus. Westpac do not have a welcome bonus for this card.
