Mikhaila Peterson, the daughter of world-famous Canadian clinical psychologist Jordan Peterson, has become famous through her YouTube videos and podcasts. She has also written several books.
She suffers from severe depression, bipolar disorder, and OCD. She has had a knee and hip replacement, the result of an autoimmune disease.
For years Mikhaila medicated until overcoming her disorders through an unusual diet: she eats no carbohydrates at all. Rather, she eats only the meat of ruminant animals like beef and lamb. She claims to eat beef three times a day, although she also says that she doesn't need to eat much because protein is so filling.
Mikhaila's diet made such a difference in her life that she decided to share her dietary secrets with others through her podcasts. She calls her business the Lion Diet Inc.

Mornings
Mikhaila starts the morning with a cup of black tea. As any mother of a preschooler knows, early mornings are a rush, and Mikhaila's are no different. Every weekday, she must get her daughter Scarlett out of bed, dressed, and fed, and then rush her off to the local Montessori daycare.
Mikhaila usually eats breakfast mid-morning, a plate of steak with some salad greens. She usually records an episode of her podcast, "The Mikhaila Peterson Podcast," in the morning after dropping her daughter off. She uses the podcast to tell her story of overcoming a debilitating and immensely painful autoimmune disease and mood disorders through diet.
Afternoons
Mikhaila has a beef lunch each day at 1 pm. She washes it down with a glass of water. Sometimes she misses lunch.
She often pays her therapist an afternoon visit. She spends the rest of the afternoon with her daughter, playing, chatting, and having an all-around good time.
Evenings
Dinner is another meal of beef, salt, and water. After Putting Scarlett to bed, Mikhaila checks her social media and relaxes in front of the television with her second husband, Jordan Fuller, then turns in for the night around 11 pm.
