Born in Turkey and living in the US since the age of eight, Cenk Kadir Uygur is a left-leaning journalist who rose to internet prominence with his popular podcast, The Young Turks. His roots are in law and journalism, and his political interests and oratorical skills equip him to produce and host this liberally-rooted show. His show launched on Sirius satellite radio in 2002 and then on the Air America radio network in 2006 and 2008.
