Molly-Mae Hague was born in Hitchin, Hertfordshire on the 25th of May 1999. Her parents, Stephen Hague and Debbie Gordon, are both police officers.

At 16, Molly-Mae — who had just won Miss Teen Hertfordshire — appealed to the readers of "The Comet", a local paper, to launch her career. She needed sponsorship to help her compete in the Miss Teen Great Britain final. It worked. She won the 2016 title and travelled to China to compete in the international pageant, where she was 1st runner up.
Education
Molly-Mae attended The Priory School in Hitchin. She did not particularly enjoy school, but still secured several GCSEs including an A in English and an A* in sociology. She also passed her maths — just — and got a pass mark for drama.
Instead of returning for sixth-form, she spent two years at the Retail Fashion Academy in Westminster, London.
