Rita Ora, the acclaimed singer-songwriter, is perhaps most well-known for the DJ Fresh track "Hot Right Now."
In 2021, she dropped £7.5 million on a charming, Victorian-era house in North London, once part of the still-standing Primrose Hill Studios.
Arthur Rackham, a lauded English illustrator of children's books, lived there from the house's inception, 1877 to 1939.
Ora had to obtain permission to renovate the historical property as it had a Grade 2 listing. This means the City of London regards it as a structure of "special interest."
The six-bedroom, four-bathroom house has many unique features: several fireplaces, including two in the main bedroom, a sundial dating back to the 1800s, a large garden (unusual for London), and a bathing area in a section of the master bedroom.
Let's take a tour around this one-of-a-kind residence.
Location
Rita Ora's house is one of London's leafy suburbs, Primrose Hill.
Her famous neighbours include the actors Jude Law and Daniel Craig, model Kate Moss, the musicians Noel Gallagher and Harry Styles, and the world-famous celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.

In the heart of Primrose Hill, once part of the Primrose Hill Studios, sits Rita Ora's Victorian abode.

Interior
Rita's house has been tastefully decorated in keeping with the architectural style.
Solid hardwood floors and white walls provide the foundation. Mid-century furniture intermix with more modern pieces to create an effortless feeling of home.

Stepping inside the home, one is greeted by an entrance hall and then on into the dining room and the adjacent renovated, almost galley-like kitchen.

The dining room is separated from the sitting room by an 18th century wooden divider, which is quite the feature.

Upstairs
Rita's home has three storeys, with the bedrooms and a glam room on the middle floor. Higher up, we find Rita's walk-in closet, which is strangely far from her main bedroom. She'll get lots of exercise running up and down the stairs if she forgets anything.
The singer does not need to go far to take a bath as there is a reconditioned tub, antique basin and cabinet, and a WC in the same room.
Off the master bedroom, which used to be the illustrator's studio, is a verandah where Ora takes in her gorgeous floral garden or has tea or breakfast.

The master bedroom has extremely high ceilings. Note a bathroom in the same space.

Garden
Rita calls her garden her "little slice of heaven." It is divided into three sections.
She proudly brings our attention to the paw marks embedded in the concrete by an errant fox back in the day.
Moving outside, there's a wrought-iron table for two and two more wrought-iron chairs are placed on either side of the fireplace. One can hardly see the pond and fountain through the surrounding greenery and color.
Through the arched arbor lies an enchanted garden where Ora often relaxes on a blanket. Beyond, the final part of the garden is a huge, gravelled firepit where friends gather to shoot the breeze.
